The 4th grade students of CENTRO EDUCACIONAL LEONARDO DA VINCI conducted a research on Brazilian Indian Groups (Wayana, Yanomami and Xavante) using the internet, books and newspapers. This research resulted in a good work, where the students - in addition to the written work - constructed scale models portraying the type of houses of each indian tribe.
The students also studied the location, the number of inhabitants, the history and the geographical situation of each indian group.
Guided by the teachers of Social Studies and Arts, the students learned a lot about the culture of the indians that inhabited our lands before it was discovery by the Portuguese people. Nowadays these indians are restricted to small areas.
