The "Maurício de Oliveira" Music Workshop at Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci, arranged another music performance by the students. It is a continuation to the "Music in the Square" project, started in March 1997.
Júlia sang accompanied by Prof. João Duarte, Thiago, in the guitar, playing the base of " Woman, no cry " (Gilberto Gil / Bob Marley), "Flores " (Titãs), in the sax. This work shows Da Vinci students talents, that have been delighting their colleagues during the breaks.
Liana sang "Bem que se quis ", by Marisa Monte, "Ovelha negra" by Rita Lee and "Chão de giz", by José Ramalho. She also invited the public to recollect and to homage composer Gonzaguinha with the music "Sangrando".
She sang and played guitar in a very cheerful way. Owner of a pretty voice, Liana received many applauses.
Júlia invited everybody so that, in the next events of " Music in the Square ", more students join the group singing and playing instruments, individually or in groups. The coordinators of the Music Workshop offer the necessary support.
