On May 18th, Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci promoted a lecture on sport and health, in which participated the doctor and alderman of Vitória, Luciano Rezende and the goalkeeper of the Brazilian beach soccer team, Paulo Sérgio Lima.
Luciano Rezende is a specialist in sport medicine and is part of the Brazilian doctor team for the Olympic Games of the year 2000 - in Sidney, in Australia - and, as an alderman, he has presented several laws focused on health.
Paulo Sérgio won several titles playing for Brazil, among them the one of world three-times-champion of beach soccer, conquered in Rio de Janeiro in 1997.
The main top is in the lecture were the use of anabolic substances, the harmful effects of smoking and the doping control in the Brazilian soccer. The students could debate with the lecturers and they questioned, among other subjects, the physical preparation of the Brazilian soccer team.
