Study Abroad – Visit of Box Hill School

CENTRO EDUCACIONAL LEONARDO DA VINCI has been offering its services to its students and parents in order to stimulate the study in other countries. The school analysed some overseas schools in countries such as Switzerland and England. This facilitated the contact between the parents interested in sending their sons abroad and the schools that were visited by some Da Vinci members.



In this way, the school was able to identify those schools that approached the most to its philosophy. Da Vinci has been also receiving representative members of schools that come here to give lectures to our students and parents.



On August 3rd 1998, Mr. Rodney Atwood, the headmaster of Box Hill School (in England) visited the school in the company of his wife, Mrs. Harriet.



Box Hill School, which has already been visited by Da Vinci members, has a lot of facilities such as pool, fields lawns for several sports, courts, gymnasium/hall and climbing wall etc.



The school offers to the students boarding houses which are small and comfortable and each of those are supervised by a Housemaster or Housemistress and an Assistant. The school maintains girls and boys separated in different boarding houses.









In the lecture given by Box Hill School, there were approximately 50 people, counting parents and students.



This was to second time that we received representatives of Box Hill School in our school.
