Infantil III has welcomed in the new school year with a delicious start! By bringing in a basket of colorful fruits and vegetables, the students had the opportunity to practice their vocabulary of basic food names and colors as well as the chance to do a little taste testing! Focusing on the importance of healthy foods and good eating habits, the students are making proud attempts to incorporate fruits and vegetables on their plates during snacks and lunch. Being a student in an integral program, studying for 10 hours a day, the children of Infantil III are starting to learn the importance of healthy eating to have lots of energy for playing and studying all day long and to help us grow big and strong! Students and teachers alike happily celebrate salad on any plate and the children get even more the attention when asking (in English of course!) “More please!” Hopefully these brave attempts to try new food will continue throughout the year and grow to become a healthy habit for life.
